Red Ribbon Week

 

 

October 26^th – 30th was the national celebration of Red Ribbon Week. All schools wore red ribbons to symbolize the fight against drugs and alcohol use.

 

The Theme for the week, “DON’T MONKEY AROUND WITH DRUGS”

 

Jeff Tech had a variety of dress up days for the occasion with prizes awarded to three people every day.

       

 -Monday: Sweats/Pajamas Day

 -Tuesday:  Decades Day

 -Wednesday: Team Jersey Day

 -Thursday: Color Day (Freshmen – Purple, Sophomores – Green, Juniors – Orange,

                                        Seniors- Blue)

 -Friday: Halloween Day (We had a short display of costumes first period on Friday in the cafeteria. Prizes were awarded.  Costume categories were – Ugliest, Scariest, Most Original, Prettiest and Best Pair)

 

The week was fun for all students and staff at Jeff Tech. We can't wait for next year to come around.
