Medical TerminologyStudents will learn medical terminology through a unique combination of anatomy and physiology, word building principles, and phonetic “sounds like” pronunciations. The course is perfect for non-medical professionals who want to learn medical terminology to pursue a field in the healthcare field. This course is designed for students who wish to enter an allied health filed requiring basic medical terminology. This course will help students prepare for careers associate with physical therapy, occupational therapy, medical assistant, emergency care, and medical care.
The course will be taught on Monday and Thursday evenings from 5 - 8 PM in the PN classroom.
The course is 27 Hours in length. A textbood will be provided.
