Algebra I Mrs. Meredith Students will be graded on individual objectives for Algebra I. Each objective will have a minimum of 5 questions on a quiz or test and may be retaken individually if necessary or so desired. For example, if there are 3 objectives on a quiz but the student performs poorly on only one of the objectives, he may retake just that portion of the quiz. Only the higher of the grades will be counted. I strongly encourage all students to relearn any failed objective and retest. Typically only two questions will be posed as homework questions: one practice and one challenge. Students must choose one but my do both if so desired. I will expect all students to complete the assignment as it is not excessive. All Algebra I students will be required to take Pennsylvania's Keystone Exam for the course at the end of the year. At this time it is a requirement for graduation. Please keep this in mind going through the course and seek additional help if needed. |
