Physical Earth SciencePhysical Earth Science is the study of all Earth's natural process, as well as its history, and the solar system around us. The course is broken down into three sections according to grade level.
The ninth grade students learn all about Earth's natural processes which range from rock and mineral formation, to volcanoes, earthquakes, and mountain building.
The tenth grade students study the hydrological cycle, as well as the oceans, and how those elements affect Earth's weather and climate.
The eleventh grade students examine Earth's past from its formation, to the first organisms living here, fossils and how they form. Students in eleventh grade also study the moon, our sun, and the solar system around us. |
