Algebra I (1 Credit or 126 Hours)

Algebra I combines a detailed review of pre-algebra concepts with an introduction of

new material that will build on the previous information. The course focuses on the

manipulation of equations and formulas using both abstract and graphic methods.

Applications from career and technical areas and other academic areas will be

incorporated as appropriate. The idea behind this approach is to allow students to see both practical and abstract uses of algebra.
