GED TestingThe GED test is offered to individuals 18 years of age or older. PA GED Test Centers will administer the test only to residents of Pennsylvania. To register for the test, complete and send in the "Verification of Eligibility" (L5) form (LINK BELOW). Complete and return the form along with your registration fee at least one week prior to the test date. Individuals must bring a government issued photo ID for registration on both days of testing. Final Registration will begin at 5:30 on the first night prior to testing. Following registration, testing will begin and then be completed on the following evening. Electronic devices such as cell phones, I-Pods, etc. are not permitted in the testing room. Testing sessions are two days; Monday and Wednesday on the dates listed below. A link to the L5 form is listed below. Complete and send this in one week prior to testing. There is now the option for online review of test results. Individuals can go to www.GED123.org to view their test results. Individuals who register online for this service are still required to complete the L5 form and send it to the school prior to testing to confirm their registration. Also they will need to provide identification each testing session. Individuals for partial test who have not tested at Jeff Tech will need to furnish a copy of their GED Transcript. Partial tests are given on the first night, Monday, beginning at 6:30 PM. An L5 form is required to be submitted prior to testing for registration. Click on the highlighted link, complete the form and send it in to register for the test. GED Test Changes In 2013, Test Centers in PA will convert to computer based testing. After this conversion, GED clients who have tested under the present system and have partial scores will need to take the entire test battery as their previous scores wil no longer be valid. Jeff Tech plans to convert to the new system during the second half of 2013. At that point, all registration will take place online. Testing will be individually scheduled for each GED Client.
